Terms & Conditions

The terms covering the free homepage preview and the £19.99 a month plan.

Last updated 31 August 2026

These terms apply to services supplied by 2Pixel Media Ltd trading as Free Web Launch.

  • Company number: 16561208
  • Registered in England and Wales
  • Registered office: Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU

By purchasing or using our paid services, you agree to these terms.

1. Our service

Free Web Launch provides website design, build, hosting, maintenance and related digital services for businesses.

Our core service allows you to see a homepage preview before deciding whether to activate a paid monthly plan.

2. Free homepage preview

The free stage includes a homepage preview only.

The purpose of the preview is to allow you to see the proposed design direction before committing to the paid service.

The free preview does not include:

  • completion of the full website
  • all remaining pages
  • detailed revision work
  • launch
  • ongoing hosting
  • ongoing support
  • integrations or substantial additional functionality

Those stages begin after you choose to activate the paid service.

3. No obligation to continue

You are not required to proceed after seeing the homepage preview.

If you decide not to continue, you will not be charged for the preview.

Submitting a preview request does not itself create a paid subscription.

4. Monthly plan

Our standard website plan is currently:

£19.99 per month

unless we agree a different price with you in writing.

Billing begins only when you choose to activate the plan.

There is currently no setup fee for the standard service.

5. What the monthly plan includes

The monthly service may include:

  • completion of the agreed website
  • website hosting
  • SSL
  • agreed domain management
  • customer portal access
  • ordinary website content updates
  • support
  • basic local search / website setup where included in the agreed service
  • maintenance required to keep the website operating

The exact content and structure of your website will depend on what has been agreed with you.

6. Website changes and updates

Normal website updates are included in the monthly service.

Examples include:

  • changing text
  • updating prices
  • swapping images
  • updating services
  • changing contact details
  • changing opening hours

Larger pieces of work are not necessarily included in the monthly fee.

Examples may include:

  • a substantial redesign
  • a new booking system
  • major new functionality
  • extensive additional pages
  • complex integrations

Where additional work falls outside the normal service, we will tell you before carrying it out and provide a separate quote where appropriate.

7. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that material you provide to us is lawful and that you have permission to use it.

This includes:

  • images
  • logos
  • text
  • trademarks
  • customer testimonials
  • business information
  • other intellectual property

You must provide accurate information and notify us if important details change.

8. Content and approvals

We may use information you provide, including material from your existing website or business social media, to prepare your website where you have authorised us to do so.

You are responsible for reviewing your website and telling us about factual inaccuracies before launch.

9. Domain names

Where a domain name is registered for you, our intention is for it to be registered for your business and not held as leverage over you.

Where possible, domains are registered in the customer’s name or otherwise managed so they can be transferred if required.

Domain availability cannot be guaranteed.

Third-party domain-registration rules and fees may apply.

10. Ownership

You retain ownership of content, logos, photographs and other materials that you provide to us.

Third-party software, libraries, services, fonts and licensed materials remain subject to their own licence terms.

Any ownership or transfer of bespoke code or design assets beyond the live website service will depend on what has been specifically agreed.

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of third-party intellectual property.

11. Hosting

Websites supplied under the monthly plan are hosted using infrastructure selected by us.

We aim to provide reliable hosting, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Temporary outages may occur due to:

  • maintenance
  • provider outages
  • network failures
  • security issues
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control

12. Third-party services

Your website may rely on third-party services such as:

  • hosting providers
  • domain registrars
  • payment providers
  • email services
  • maps
  • booking systems
  • analytics tools
  • social media platforms

We are not responsible for outages, policy changes or failures caused solely by third-party services outside our reasonable control.

13. Payments

Subscription payments are due according to the billing schedule shown when you activate the service.

Payments may be handled through Stripe or another authorised payment provider.

If payment fails or becomes overdue, we may contact you and may suspend services where necessary.

14. Cancellation

You may request cancellation of your service.

Cancellation is handled by our team rather than through an automatic self-service cancellation button.

You should contact us to request cancellation.

We will confirm when cancellation has been processed.

Any sums already due remain payable.

15. What happens after cancellation

If you cancel, ongoing hosting, maintenance, support and updates supplied under the monthly plan will end in accordance with the cancellation arrangements we confirm with you.

We will reasonably assist with transferring a domain you own or control where applicable.

Any separate transfer of website files, code, third-party licences or services will depend on the circumstances and what has been agreed.

We do not guarantee that a website will continue functioning unchanged after it is removed from the infrastructure and services on which it was built.

16. Suspension

We may suspend or refuse service where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • payment remains overdue
  • the website is being used unlawfully
  • material infringes third-party rights
  • the service is being abused
  • continued service creates a security or legal risk

Where reasonable, we will try to contact you before suspension.

17. Prohibited content

We may refuse to host or publish material that is:

  • unlawful
  • fraudulent
  • malicious
  • defamatory
  • infringing
  • designed to distribute malware
  • otherwise likely to expose us or our providers to legal or security risk

18. Portfolio use

We may wish to show websites we have built in our portfolio or marketing.

We will only use customer work in this way where we have an appropriate right or permission to do so.

We will not knowingly present speculative or illustrative work as a real customer project.

19. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:

  • indirect or consequential losses
  • loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity arising indirectly from the service
  • failures caused by third parties outside our reasonable control
  • losses caused by inaccurate or unlawful material supplied by the customer
  • search-engine rankings or specific levels of website traffic, enquiries or sales

We do not guarantee that a website will generate any particular commercial result.

20. Our total liability

Where permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service will be limited to the amount paid by you to us for the service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

This limit does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

21. Changes to the service or pricing

We may update our service or pricing in future.

Any changes affecting an existing customer will be communicated appropriately before they take effect.

22. Consumer rights

Our service is primarily intended for businesses.

Nothing in these terms removes any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

23. Ending our agreement

Either party may end the service in accordance with these terms.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination — such as outstanding payments, intellectual property, liability and confidentiality — may continue to apply.

24. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply otherwise.
